Thoughts can be as evasive as fireflies, flickering through the twilight into dusk.
There one moment, and if not caught quickly enough,
in the turn of a back or the blink of an eye,
suddenly gone,
maybe never to be thought of again.
And even if I’d manage to fill a jar with them I would admire them
in an absent way,
and when I was done, I’d set them free.
It’s only recently that I’ve begun to bottle them away for later.
To visit them every now and then, and use their light
to guide me when darkness comes.

Content

All photographs used on this site are originals. They are a mix of pictures I have taken myself, and photos that have been taken by my wonderful brothers and friends on their various adventures. Thank you, all of you, for readily being a part of this with me and for sharing these beautiful images without hesitation.

The writing is my own and I hope you enjoy it. There’s always been something cathartic to me about getting lost in images and thoughts, no matter how out of focus or rambling they may be. I hope this encourages you to bottle up some thoughts of your own. Write them down before they escape you, you’ll be surprised some of the things you think of that you never noticed before. Get them out and revisit them every now and then, so you can use their wisdom to guide you, too, when you need it most.
