You are an integral part of this world,
an important piece
of a greater whole.

For we are, all of us, each,
the universe,
one vast perception,
one single story
aware of itself through our many eyes

each pair, a fractal,
like countless faces
of a changing crystal

each side reflecting back, always,
a different sliver
of what it means to exist Here,
to be alive.

And the light you shine back in this world
is never unnoticed,
for even in this ocean
of fractured perceptions,
there is only one that is you.

And while you are here,
you will touch the lives, constantly,
of all those around you.
Seeding ripples all the time
that grow into waves you never see

and in this wild, living network
you are loved by so many, and so much,
and when you are gone,
I promise,
all of this will be missing something
